Nestled in Wichita Falls stands a remarkable residence, a testament to an era rich with oil fortunes and architectural opulence. Built in 1941, this house exudes a timeless charm, accentuated by intricate details that whisper tales of its storied past.
From the moment you step through its carved glass front door, you're greeted by the splendor of a bygone era. The spiral stairwell, adorned with a dazzling chandelier, casts soft shadows across the foyer, while elegant fireplaces and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows beckon natural light into every corner.

Recently, we had the privilege of collaborating with the discerning homeowner to weave modern luxury into the fabric of this historic gem. Our journey began with the windows – each a canvas offering both privacy and ambiance. Hunter Douglas Duette motorized shades, with an extremely narrow stack, that were carefully selected, seamlessly blending technology with tradition.
In the little girl's room, a touch of whimsy emerged with narrow velvet-trimmed drapery, delicately suspended from aged brass French return hardware. Meanwhile, in the adjoining bathroom, a sheer cafe curtain added a touch of ethereal charm, its brass hardware a nod to timeless elegance.

In the office, where sophistication meets functionality, natural linen drapery adorned a recessed curved bay window, perfectly complementing the room's dark walls and sumptuous leather chairs. The result? A space that exudes both warmth and professionalism.
The living room, the heart of this grand home, received a tactile makeover, layering luxurious feather pillows and tall, mount white drapery with antique brass hardware. Against the backdrop of an ornate chandelier, this juxtaposition of textures and hues evokes a sense of contemporary grace, seamlessly melding with the home's classical bones.
